The Management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University is informing all its graduands from the under-listed academic sessions to come to the institution from, Thursday, 23rd May, 2024 for the collection of their individual academic gowns which they are required to wear for participation during the 9th-13th Combined Convocation ceremony scheduled to hold on Saturday, 25th May, 2024. The sessions are:
i. 2017/2018 session
ii.2018/2019 session
iii. 2019/2020 session
iv. 2021/2022 session
v. 2022/2023 session
The collection of the academic gowns is to take place from Thursday, 23rd May, 2024 by 9:00 o’clock in the morning from their respective Faculty Officers and the Postgraduate School.
Each graduand is to pay the sum of one thousand naira only per academic gown. Payment for the Book of Proceedings will be at the point of Certificate collection.
All graduands wishing to collect the academic gown have to collect a Gown Allocation Form from their respective Faculties and the Postgraduate School and fill same before making the payment.
Graduands are to note that the academic gowns are very limited in number, as such; a first-to-come first-to-served policy will be applied.
