The attention of the Management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, has been drawn to a viral post circulating on social media platforms, particularly Facebook, purporting to announce the University’s UTME cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic session.
We wish to categorically state that the information did not originate from the University and is therefore false, misleading, and fraudulent. The general public, particularly prospective applicants and their guardians, are hereby advised to disregard the said publication entirely.
For the avoidance of doubt, UMYU has not released any official UTME cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 admissions. All valid announcements regarding admissions, academic guidelines, and other official matters are only published through the University’s official website [www.umyu.edu.ng], its verified social media handles, and other recognized communication channels.
Members of the public are urged to exercise caution and verify any information related to the University through official sources to avoid being misled or defrauded.
