The Department of Microbiology, Umaru Musa Yar’adua University Katsina with support from the Society for Experimental Biology wishes to invite you to its 2nd UMYU Conference on Microbiology and Related Sciences, Feb, 2024.
It is using this medium to encourage researchers, scholars, professionals, practitioners and students to participate actively in the dissemination of their work through conference attendance and presentations.

Conference date: 27th – 29th Feb, 2024
Abstract submission: 10th Jan – 20th Feb, 2024
Mode of presentation: Hybrid (Physical & Virtual presentations)
Submission of abstract can be done via the conference email address: mcbconference@umyu.edu.ng accompanied with processing charges of N1,000 paid through the account (2099599544), United Bank for Africa, UMYU Journal of Microbiology Research.
It Is important to NOTE that conference registration and participation is free. However, for the conference package (Book of abstract, Certificates plus others) a token fee of N5,000 is charged.
Additionally, there will be Journal publication (UJMR special conference edition), for accepted abstracts, candidates are encouraged to submit the full-length manuscript together with Article processing charges of N5,000. Moreover, there will be a 50% discount on Publications charges for accepted manuscripts.
