Dr Mustapha Bala Ruma
Dr Mustapha Bala Ruma is a lecturer and researcher in the field of Literature in the Department of English and French, Faculty of Humanities, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University, Katsina. He has won numerous awards in the field of English Language and Literature at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Dr Mustapha Bala Ruma obtained his B.A English with Second Class, Upper Division [2.1] from Bayero University Kano.He equally holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in English Literature (with specialisation in Life Writing) from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His research interests include post-colonial Literature, Literature and Religion,modern drama, and life writing.
His published papers are available at digital and online platforms such as google scholar, researchgate.net, and academia.edu where he is among the top 3% in research visibility in the field of Literature.

Dr. M.B. Ruma has published in reputable journals such as Asiatic, SARE, Sarjana, IJALEL, JELL,EAR, Taguwa, and KAJOLLS. Over the years, he has presented papers at several national and international conferences and colloquiums in Africa and Asia. 3) Malam Mohammed Gwarzo Prize for the Best All Round Final Year Student in English (B.U.K. 1999/2000).
